John is a resident of East Hampton New York.His art studies has taken him to various countries. In New York he studied textile design at the Fashion Institute ofTechnology, Traphagen School of Design in Rome Italy He continued studies at Koefia Academia International and for a change of pace,Ikebana - Japanese flower arrangement.
In New York he did an award winning cover for Opera News, the Metropolitan Opera Magazine.
A member of East Hampton Artist Alliance, East End Art Council and Southampton Artist's.
He has shown his art in many of the galleries on eastern Long island,New York, including Guild Hall,Parish Art Museum,Clayton Libertore Gallery and Water Mill Museum
Alternating painting, photography and theater design. He has designed many theater sets at the John Drew Theater in East Hampton New York and several videos made for TV at LTV Studios, for a Playwrights Festival at Theater Row in Manhattan and sets for an independent movie "Lies and Loves" filmed on Long Island.
